Batik is one of the oldest kinds of art. Painting on fabric is a very direct way to express yourself. It gives the process more opportunity with the final look of the piece. Free flowing of colors give each piece of painted cloth it's own voice. That's why I choose this material to speak for me. I trust the color and the form with my feelings. Most of my batik pieces are based on the heart and the cross motif.
